MA Children's book Project. Dip pen, ink and Photoshop

During my research I explored ways in which we pass on everyday memories to the next generation through objects, photos and stories.
I wanted to capture my own personal memories of spending time with my Grandma so that I could attempt to share this with my own children.
Through this exploration I looked at the benefits of intergenerational relationships and examined ways in which illustration could be used as a tool to capture memories that would otherwise not be recorded in a tangible form.
The following are examples from the final piece, a children's picturebook entitled Dusters, which I'm pleased to say was highly commended in the Macmillian Prize for Children's Books.
